Thanks to the volunteerism of Emory Law alumni, more than 100 students took part in some type of mentorship last year: one on one, group, or flash interactions. Because of you, we have grown relationships and have been required to scale the program.
The purpose of the Emory Law Student & Alumni Mentor Program is to strengthen the ties between current students and the alumni of Emory Law. Our goal is to help participants, on both sides, build long term meaningful relationships that will last beyond graduation. Our desire is to pair each interested student with a mentor! You can help us fulfill our purpose, smash our goal, and make our aspiration a reality.
Mentor matches will be made on basis of degree, industry, and/or identity using our online platform Emory Connects. Matching will take place in late September. The program will run from October through April with touch points decided by the mentor/mentee pairings. We are suggesting monthly check-ins but leave it to matched pairs to decide engagement frequency.
